  • Assisted developers with company programs by creating a knowledge database and presentations on how programs work to help streamline developer help.

  • Assisted developers troubleshooting, and program development implementation.

  • Helped teach developers how new programs worked with our current development pipeline.

  • Created documentation for various applications, including Git, SourceTree, Tortoise Git, and Team Foundation Server.

  • Provided support for Git development tool, company branching strategy, and build environments.

  • Managed Agile development process, hosting daily scrums with developers and an offshore team.

A.R.C.H.O.N

Position - Designer & Producer

Tiny Tyrants, Plano, TX - January 2015 - Present

Worked with a team of three people on a board game, Iron Tyrant is a four player board game where players control giant robots called Tyrants! The game features, upgradable Tyrants, and an ever changing battlefield by utilizing destructible buildings throughout the board . Acted as the lead designer, designing upgrades for the Tyrants, designing the destructible environment mechanics, and designing the Event Cards that are drawn each round by players. Currently turning the board game into a digital game working with a new team of artists and programmers to create the game.

  • Designed the destructible environment mechanic, event card system, and all armor and weapons.

  • Studied and maintained target demographic studies for optimal customer reach.

  • Led play testing sessions, and designed and balanced the armor and weapon systems.

  • Collaborated with artists to ensure the armor pieces and weapons were able to work with the players’ ARCHON cards.

Five Suns

Position - Designer & Producer

Studio Hue, Savannah, GA - January 2014 - June 2014

Winner of Best 2D Game at Entelechy 2014
Working with a small team on a PC game set during the Aztec creation myth where the five gods bring forth life but also bring forth destruction. Five Suns is a single player isometric dungeon crawler set during the Aztec creation myth of the same name. Play as two children who are imagining the creation myth as their grandmother tells them the story. Guide the children imaginary selves through a crumbling world and utilize Aztec incenses to activate special abilities that are unique to each character. Acted as one of the designer on multiple aspects of the project, worked with other designers on the project, and communicated to artists what each ability should look like.

  • Designed the moment-to-moment gameplay, including the combat system, enemy classes, and spell sets.

  • Led play testing and daily scrum sessions, and oversaw cast and crew production schedule.

  • Presented results of the play testing sessions to various departmental personnel.

  • Directly responsible for all project deadlines, including all art assets, design principals, voice work, and casting.

Microsoft CLC

Position - Designer

Microsoft, Savannah, GA - January 2013 - June 2013
Worked for ten weeks with Microsoft, on an unannounced project. Worked with a team of ten people and acted as one of the designers and helped layout the groundwork for the final product. Due to a NDA no more can be said about the project at this time.


Humans vs Zombies 2013

Position - Gameplay Coordinator

Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, GA - May 2012 - May 2013


Co-Ran the largest club at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Humans vs. Zombies is a 5 day long LARPG with over 350 players. Acted as the Lead Game Designer and ran a committee of three people, designing classes for both the Human and Zombie teams, designing side missions during the day as well as the primary missions at night.

  • Oversaw a team of designers over a 12-month period to design a 4-day live action roleplaying game.

  • Collaborated with department coordinators to ensure designed classes and missions fit within the game theme.

  • Assisted the Media Department with all public relations and videography requirements.

  • Ran test games, analyzing feedback and presenting results to team members.

  • Designed missions, classes, and real-time strategy feedback methodology.

  • Refined game rules and ensured moderators had 100% knowledge and implementation of such rules.


Vallo


Position - Project Lead, Producer, & Lead Designer

Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, GA - September 2013 - March 2014
Working with a small team on a PC and iOS game set within a Zombie Apocalypse, Vallo is a single player game where the players take control of survivors and must take shelter in a variety of bases scattered throughout the world. Players must defend their bases by building various traps to stop the oncoming horde. Acting as the Project Lead, and Lead Designer, managing a team and making sure deadlines are reached, as well as designing all the aspects of the game such as, the different defenses the player can build and how they can be upgraded, what each base is and how large they are, and the different classes for the survivors.

Flight of the Meridian


Position - Project Lead, Producer, & Lead Designer

Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, GA - September 2013 - March 2014
Working with a small team on a board game set aboard a derelict ship called the Meridian where a deadly alien is trying to devour the remaining crew. Flight of the Meridian is a four player three versus one board game, where three players play the crew, and one player plays the deadly alien. The game features a unique goal system ensuring each games goal is different, and a mechanic that randomly selects what rooms are on the Meridian each game. Acted as the Project Lead, and Lead Designer, managing a team, and making sure deadlines were reached, and designing all the crew and alien classes, all the goal cards, and the randomized rooms

  • Designed a 3 versus 1 board game

  • Worked with 2 freelance artists to help create concept art for the project
